We discussed ideas for our storyline, we came up with three ideas. The 1st idea we thought of was having a group of 4 boys who want to loose their of virginity at the final party as high schoolers. The second idea we thought of was having a new boy who wants to get in with the popular boys and then falls in love with a popular girl. We decided not to choose these ideas because we believed they lacked spark and interest and also believed they were cliche storylines for Teen Comedies. The idea we believed was the best and the one we are going to use is where there are a group of nerds who are stereotypically nerdy who are bullied at school by the popular kids. The three nerds want to go to a graduation party and they told they cannot go, however they go, and the trailer will hint that they are with girls and very drunk, we believe this will be the most comical storyline.

After coming up with the provisional idea for our trailer, we then decided to talk about characters. We came up with ideas about the nerds, we said that they have to wear stereotypical clothing for example sweaters vests, shirts, tie, jeans and shoes, whereas the popular Jocks have to wear clothing such as baggy jeans, polos and rugby's. The girls in the trailer also have to make themselves look popular and good looking by wearing contempoary clothing.

The setting of our trailer was also discussed at our meeting. We came up with three scenes for our Teen Comedy. The first idea for our scene was our school 'Neale Wade' this would be the scene where the nerds are seeing the posters about the party and get bullied. The next scene we discussed using was one of our houses this would be for when we show the nerds doing nerdy things for example playing on COD. Our final idea for the scene was another one of our friends houses so we can depict the scene of the party.

I contributed a great deal to our meeting for example I came up with the idea for our trailer, along with Brett. I also contributed the idea of one of the main characters playing with a lightsaber in his bedroom in the trailer and helped contribute to the names of the characters in our trailer. I contributed the name of our film 'Graduation' which we then made a poll about including other possible names and let our target audience vote on what they wanted the name to be.


After completing our meeting, I then decided to summarise the idea we chose into a mind map, we went more into detail about the trailer, characters and settings.
